Only 214 Audi Sport Quattros with the 306-horsepower turbo engine were produced. The sports car is a serial version of the famous rally car.

In the USA, RM Sotheby’s auctioned a 1984 Audi Sport Quattro. They plan to fetch up to 700,000 dollars for the sports coupe – as for two Ferrari 296. The car was reported on the website of the auction house.

The sports car is a limited, charged version of the all-wheel drive Audi Quattro — only 214 such coupes were produced. In fact, it is a serial version of the rally Quattro, which won the WRC World Championship twice.

The car is shortened by 320 mm compared to the standard Audi Quattro. In addition, it has modified bumpers, hood and rear spoiler, and Recaro sports seats are installed in the cabin.

Audi Sport Quattro is equipped with a 2.1-liter five-cylinder turbo engine with 306 hp. It can accelerate to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds, and its maximum speed is 250 km/h.

It is this Audi Sport Quattro that is so expensive also because it has been perfectly preserved and hardly used. Its mileage is only 8,800 km. The car is completely original, except that a Sony display appeared in the cabin.
